I've recently been there as we have two young children. Your priorties do change, but it is for the better. Beyond some of the initial expenses with having a child, it's really a matter of planning your spending plan each month for these additional expenses. There's certainly going to be more expenses associated with diapers, etc. But you'll get it figured out after a few months.
